Parks Featured in Hey Ranger !
Most of the stories in this book are based on the author’s personal experiences in eight National Park Service areas during his thirty-year career as a ranger. Six of those areas are featured in multiple chapters in the book. Photos with links to the official websites for those sites are included below. There are also several tales from Jim’s assignment at Big Thicket National Preserve in Texas. In addition, individual stories from more than three dozen other parks from all parts of the U. S. are included in the book. I hope you’ll find one or more of your favorite areas mentioned somewhere in Hey Ranger! Whether or not that’s the case, I trust that you’ll find the retelling of these events both fun and informative.
